Molly Dempsey, M.D.
Chief Medical Information Officer and Director of Radiology
Molly Dempsey, M.D., is the medical director of radiology and chief medical information officer at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. She received her undergraduate degree from San Diego State University and her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Dempsey completed her internal medicine internship at St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach, California, and her residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of California Los Angeles-Harbor Medical Center. She was a pediatric radiology fellow at Children’s Hospital, Boston and junior faculty at Harvard Medical School. She is board-certified in diagnostic radiology and maintains a certificate of added qualification in pediatric radiology by the American Board of Radiology. While at Emory University School of Medicine, she received the Thomas S. Powell Scholarship, James E. Paulin Scholarship and the Joseph B. Whitehead Scholarship. She has a volunteer faculty appointment at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She is a member of the American College of Radiology/Texas Radiologic Society, American Roentgen Ray Society, American Society of Pediatric Neuroradiology, Dallas County Medical Society/Texas Medical Association, Radiological Society of North America, Society of Chairmen of Radiology at Children’s Hospitals, Society for Pediatric Radiology and Society of Skeletal Radiology. She is President-Elect for the Board of Directors of the Society for Pediatric Radiology Research and Education Foundation, Member ACR Committee on Economics – Pediatric Radiology, American College of Radiology, Panel Member, ACR Appropriateness Criteria – Pediatric Imaging.
