Crayon Club members volunteering at events for Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children

CRAYON CLUB

Crayon Club was established to unite young professionals dedicated to improving the lives of children. Together, through volunteerism, education and philanthropy, Crayon Club supports the mission of Scottish Rite Hospital.

Volunteerism
Crayon Club offers unique volunteer opportunities, including participating in events around the community, such as the Dallas Marathon and Scottish Rite Hospital’s Farm and Ranch Day, and assisting with patient activities in the hospital’s Dr. Bob and Jean Smith Child Life Center.

Education
Through Crayon Club, individuals can learn about the latest advancements in pediatric orthopedics and research from an unparalleled team of Scottish Rite Hospital experts. An Evening with Crayon Club is a casual venue for individuals to learn more about Scottish Rite Hospital and to introduce new friends to the hospital. The evening includes hospital tours followed by dinner and a speaker.

Philanthropy
Crayon Club provides opportunities to create friendships, network and connect with others interested in making a positive impact in their community. Benefits of Crayon Club also include invitations to special events and other activities.

Join community friends, area neighbors and other volunteers for the annual cleanup of Reverchon Park, located right next door to Scottish Rite Hospital. Activities include clearing out trash, spreading mulch and removing underbrush and debris. Lunch is provided.

This fun annual event educates area kids and their families about safety on a bike, at home and in the community. Each child receives a free bike helmet. Volunteers are needed to help with various event activities.

These nine-hole, best-ball scramble golf tournaments are for kids ages 5 to 15 with all levels of golf ability and to benefit Scottish Rite Hospital. Players raise money for the hospital by going to family and friends. There are three tournaments each summer held in Dallas, McKinney and Trophy Club.

Be part of the event that kicks off the holiday season at Scottish Rite Hospital, where more than 600 volunteers decorate more than 60 trees around the hospital. Crayon Club members can volunteer to decorate the group’s tree with fun decorations and gift boxes. Dinner is provided at this event.

Join hundreds of volunteers as we serve water to 21,000 runners participating in the Dallas Marathon. Scottish Rite Hospital has a water station along the race course, and Crayon Club members can volunteer to be part of this exciting day in Dallas.
