2019 Annual Clinical Research Conference Register

The annual Research Conference is a collaborative offering of Children’s Health, Parkland Memorial Hospital, Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and UT Southwestern Medical Center.  This is our 9th year of existence and our 6th year with Texas Scottish Rite Hospital hosting.  While informative, the annual conference is purposed to be a celebration of the successes of research, demonstrating the role it plays in furthering patient care and treatment.   

Educational Objectives

Upon completion of the workshop, the participant will be able to:
1.  Recognize the role and importance of Research studies in improving patient care
2.  Identify opportunities to innovate study design, conduct and return of results to participants
3.  Discuss holistic approaches to recognizing and resolving roadblocks in multidisciplinary research studies

Target Audience

All physicians, nurses and allied healthcare professionals who are interested in conducting or currently coordinate research at Children’s Health System of Texas, Parkland Memorial Hospital, Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and UT Southwestern Medical Center Dallas.

This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. ANCC Accredited Approver number A001.
