Amputee Ski Trip Spotlight: Luke, age 14 of Little Elm

Luke, age 14 of Little Elm, has been coming to Scottish Rite Hospital for a couple of years for treatment on his right leg, where he wears a prosthesis. He enjoys school, particularly science, and actively participates in activities both in and out of school. Luke plays the bass in orchestra and enjoys playing golf as well. When he grows up, Luke would like to be an architect. This will be Luke’s first year on the ski trip. Though he’s never been skiing or snowboarding before, Luke is looking forward to the trip and likes the thought of flying down the slopes.
